Experience the award-winning storytelling of Ira Glass’ This American Life coupled with dynamic dancing.

Ira Glass is the creator and host of the wildly popular US public radio program This American Life. The show is heard each week by over 2.2 million listeners on more than 500 public radio stations in the United States, Australia and Canada, with another 2.2 million downloading each podcast.

The host brings his storytelling expertise to a fusion of mediums that, as Glass puts it, 'have no business being together – dance and radio’. The result is Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host. The show explores themes of love and mortality, combining classic on-air narratives with playful choreography that skips between rat-pack suits and slinky suave gowns.

New York dancers Monica Bill Barnes and Anna Bass, of the 20-year-old contemporary dance outfit Monica Bill Barnes & Company, create a dynamic duet to match Glass’ live radio drama, delivered with his trademark theatrical charm.
