Senegalese master-musician Baaba Maal returns to Southbank Centre.
He performs tracks from his new record The Traveller with his new six-piece band. Released in January 2016, Maal's 11th album mixes African roots music with Western electro.
The Traveller was recorded in London and Senegal with Johan Hugo Karlberg of The Very Best. Karlberg has previously collaborated with M.I.A, Coldplay, and Amadou and Marian.
