The event will see stripped back performances from a line-up including Bastille, Birdy, Freya Ridings, Jake Bugg, James Bay and Passenger, with more very special guests to be announced.
Bastille
Since their inception in 2010, Bastille have steadily built up an ever-growing audience, resulting in their debut album 'Bad Blood' reaching the no.1 position in the UK album charts. The following years have certainly been a whrlwind for the band who comprise of frontman and lyricist, Dan Smith, keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist and guitarist Will Farquarson, and drummer Chris Wood. The band have played hundreds of shows across six continents, including the critically acclaimed ReOrchestrated tour, and as of 2018 have amassed 15 million single sales and 6 million album sales globally. Both Bad Blood and its follow-up, ‘Wild World’, reached No.1 in the UK and the top 10 in the US, and their music has been streamed a staggering 3.5 billion times. They’ve not gone without awards recognition either: after winning British Breakthrough Act at the BRITs, the band have earned Grammy, AMA and MTV Europe Awards nominations.

Birdy
Birdy is a beguiling mix of contradictions: she's young, yet sings in a voice that is world-weary and steeped in soul. She can be endearingly shy and nervous, yet she's also an astonishingly focussed and charismatic live performer. She's fragile, yet strong enough to fight her corner with both producers and label when she needs to. She is, quite simply, unique. And this is just the start.

Freya Ridings
Freya Ridings was the British breakthrough success story of 2018. Her 2017 song ‘Lost Without You’ peaked at Number 9 in the Official Chart and stayed in the Top 10 for 8 weeks. A hymn to lost love and regret, the single had over 100 million streams in the months following its release and was added to BBC Radio 1, Radio 2 and Capital FM playlists. Contending with being incredibly shy and feeling isolated at school, Freya found her extraordinary voice when she was invited to perform at an open-mic night when she was just 12 years old. Freya has distilled a short lifetime of uncertainty into greatness with one of the most powerful voices in a generation.

Jake Bugg
Jake Bugg's incredible ascent began in 2012 when his self-titled debut album entered the UK charts at number one (aged 18, making him the youngest British male artist ever to achieve this), going on to sell double platinum and get shortlisted for the UK Mercury Music Prize. And with three further UK Top 10 albums, it seems his fans have still got the bug for his music.
