The Best Of The West End

The Best of the West End returns to the Royal Albert Hall in 2020, presenting once again a stunning collection of some of the greatest music from stage & screen, with classic songs from Les Miserables, Mamma Mia!, Aladdin, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Hairspray, The Greatest Show, A Star is Born, The Phantom of the Opera and many more.

Starring Ramin Karimloo, Ruthie Henshall, Ben Forster, Mazz Murray, Layton Williams, Marisha Wallace, Lauren Samuels, Matthew Croke, Ben Haenow and other stars of stage and screen performing with a full orchestra, in celebration of the very best of the West End.

Ramin, born in Iran, began his career in Toronto, Canada but a subsequent move to the UK has seen him establish himself as a sought-after performer in London's West End. Roles include playing Raoul in The Phantom Of the Opera (Her Majesty's Theatre), Enjolras in Les Miserables (Queen's Theatre), The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera, and The Phantom in Love Never Dies.

Ben Forster

Ben Forster appearing at this event

Ben Forster is a British actor and singer who found fame when he won ITV's Superstar competition in 2012. As a result, Forster played the lead role of Jesus in the revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar in its 2012 arena tour.

Mazz Murray

Rock singer Mazz starred in award winning hit show We Will Rock You as Killer Queen. She has also sung alongside Iron Maiden, and starred in many shows across the country such as Rent, Smokey Joes, Boogie Nights, and numerous concerts. She is featured on soundtracks, including Sweet Charity and Chicago.

Ben Haenow

Ben Haenow appearing at this event

Croydon van driver turned X Factor 2014 winner, Ben Haenow brought a rockier vocal sound to the competition. His cover of OneRepublic's Something I Need was unsurprisingly the Christmas no.1 for 2014. The following year he had the pleasure of dueting with former US Pop Idol winner Kelly Clarkson on his single 'Second Hand Heart' and released his platinum-selling eponymous debut album. He has since parted ways with Simon Cowell's Syco label, but undeterred continues working on new material and live shows.
