Some entertained the nation and became favourites of royalty, others campaigned to change the lives of women and children for ever. Hear about Emmeline Pankhurst and Millicent Fawcett who campaigned for women to get the vote and lesser known figures such as Margaret Bondfield who fought ardently for women shop workers’ rights and became Britain's first female cabinet minister.
