From The Archives: Reformers To Performers - Influential Women At The Royal Albert Hall

Join Royal Albert Hall Archivists Liz Harper and Suzanne Keyte for a special talk on some of the many great women and organisations for women who have appeared at the Hall.

Some entertained the nation and became favourites of royalty, others campaigned to change the lives of women and children for ever. Hear about Emmeline Pankhurst and Millicent Fawcett who campaigned for women to get the vote and lesser known figures such as Margaret Bondfield who fought ardently for women shop workers’ rights and became Britain's first female cabinet minister. From The Women’s Institute to the Women’s League of Health and Beauty - please come along for this fascinating talk.

Anne Stamper retired Honorary Archivist from the Women Institute will be a guest speaker.
