Voices Now
Voices Now begins with the BBC Singers who are joined by 650 children from schools across Harrow. A total of 26 choirs from over half of Harrow’s schools will perform works by Britten and Copland as well as a new commission The Elements by Grace Rossiter and Stephen Jeffes.
The BBC Singers return to Voices Now following their appearance at the first festival in March 2011. The ensemble holds a unique position in British musical life, with repertoire that spans Byrd to Takemitsu, and it's expertise in performing the latest scores has brought about relationships with some of the most important composers and conductors of the 20th and 21st centuries.
