Jon Hendricks

at Ronnie Scott's, London

This event has been and gone.

One of the most influential jazz-singers of all time and the inventor of vocalese – the art of adding lyrics to the great jazz solos – as well as the author of Georgie Fame’s smash hit ‘Yeah Yeah’, Henricks is true jazz royalty and Ronnie Scott’s is delighted to welcome him for a four night residency.

Also regarded as one of the finest scat singers in jazz history, Hendricks composed the lyrical arrangements for the album Vocalese by jazz vocal group Manhattan Transfer, which went on to win seven Grammy Awards, including one for himself as ‘Best Singer’ and his appearance at Ronnie Scott’s is an unmissable opportunity to witness a master in action.
