Open Senses: Ideas In Progress
Open Senses was launched in May 2017 as the world’s first festival dedicated to sensory practice and research - uniting a diverse group of practitioners dedicated to exploring the senses. In 2018 we present Open Senses: Ideas in Progress, a series of events bringing sensorial enthusiasts together on a regular basis, with the goal of opening up pathways for experimentation and collaboration.
It is designed to be a showcase of new ideas and projects that engage and explore the body and the senses. The programme, produced quarterly throughout 2018, will include performances, workshops, education projects, and installations that respond to a theme.
Open Senses: Ideas in Progress June the audience will participate in socially motivated sensorial work that responds to Closeness and Belonging.
