Vitaly Komar - Artist's Talk: Pushkin's Cat And Other Animals In My Work
One half of the flamboyant and hugely influential Komar and Melamid, Vitaly Komar was a pioneer of Moscow conceptualism, an author of the ‘sots-art’ movement and of some of the ground-breaking early performances and installations in Moscow in the 1970s.
Komar and Melamid split in 2003, but both are still actively working. Expect wit, playfulness and plenty of twists.
