Trilogy of the Greek Blues charts the 100 year journey of the Greek blues. Beginning with evocative music from shanty towns of Athens 1910; we move to vintage Europeanized Greek music years of 1940-60's -reminiscent of Piaf Dietrich era; the journey culminated with music from the ground-breaking genre Nu rembetika.

Nu rembetika is all set to take its place on the World blues stage alongside Nu Fado and Nu Tango with courageous interpretations of classic Greek blues songs, providing the meeting point of Eastern Med music and new jazz.

Martha band of top class musicians from the jazz and world music stage includes Nick Cohen Producer/bass and special guest from Greece -Oud maestro Alekos Vretos.
