Holding Your Part Taster Workshop

Learn how to make beautiful harmonies across different genres with one of the UK’s finest choral leaders, Ken Burton.

This workshop is a chance to experience afresh the unifying force of music as a universal form of expression.

It experiments with layering different melodies and ideas to explore the very fundamentals of harmony in a practical and joyous setting.

Conductor, composer, arranger, broadcaster, judge and educator, Ken Burton’s musical activities span a wide range of roles and genres internationally. A regular judge on the BBC’s Choir of the Year, he has also worked on Songs of Praise, The Choir, Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor, amongst others.

He regularly directs the London Adventist Chorale and SDA Gospel Choir, and has conducted a range of classical choral as well as orchestral works.

Open to singers with any level of experience. Men especially welcome. Learning done by ear.
