And Suddenly I Disappear

Playwright Kaite O’Reilly presents an international mosaic of monologues about difference, disability and what it means to be human.

This multimedia theatrical performance incorporates spoken, visual and projected forms, and makes use of the aesthetics of access.

This UK premiere production is the first multilingual, intercultural, Deaf and disability-led theatre project created between the UK and Singapore.

Directed by Phillip Zarrilli and Peter Sau (SG), it features veteran disability arts practitioner/performer Sara Beer (UK), Deaf UK-based Singaporean Visual Language Director Ramesh Meyyappan, and Applied Theatre Practitioner/performer Grace Khoo (SG). Sophie Stone (UK) appears in pre-recorded video sequences while Garry Robson (UK), Macsen McKay (UK) are featured in guest performances.
