The KD Dance Orchestra is a tremendous 9 piece party band featuring a full horn section alongside the smoothest vocals. Their music ranges from form the golden era of big band right through to the choicest boogielicious soul. Jazz flights are standard but the smooth vocals from Peter Cook and driving diva anthems from Bennett elevate this fun-loving band to the legendary wonderful party darling status they richly deserve.

The KD Dance Orchestra are stepping off the corporate event circuit for this rare opportunity to see them live.

Band leader Ian Swatman : Ian Swatman is a seasoned Director of Music, Teacher conductor and Bandleader. KD Dance Orchestra combines his love of that big band sound and a driving groovy beat.

Kent-based traditional jazz ensemble playing a variety of styles from the '20s, '30s & '40s - from the ODJB to Michael Buble. We now have the sensational Ginger Bennett blasting out a set of soul classics. Respect, Best of My Love, Say A Little Prayer, Signed, Sealed, Delivered to name but a few and we are now able to offer, as well as our 7 piece 'Little Big Band' setup, a 9 piece soul band! Stunning vocals, rhythm section, four piece brass section and funky rhythm guitar. Clients can mix up the evening with swing classics, Glen Miller, Sinatra, alongside timeless soul or opt for a swing first set with dance floor filling soul hits in the second set, the choice is yours. 'We booked KD Dance Orchestra for our Eurotunnel staff event to celebrate our 25th birthday with the theme “Si français”, the brief was to lay on something special and boy die they deliver! Right from the kick off, the dance floor was full; we have never seen anything like it! Their mix of genres meant that there was something for everyone and we had fantastic feedback from our staff and their friends/family who attended the event. They created a fabulous atmosphere and helped to make it a truly memorable evening which we will be talking about for the next 25 years!
