Forever House

Can a building retain the memories it has witnessed? And if so, is it ever possible for us to truly escape those memories and start again?

These are the questions raised by Glenn Waldron’s debut play, a thoughtful comedy-drama that tests the tension between the tug of the past and the pull of new beginnings.

Set in a terraced house in the playwright’s hometown of Plymouth, the play spans 13 years, during which three couples attempt to negotiate fresh starts within the same space.

Pentagon Theatre are a graduate theatre company formed from the Drama Department at Exeter University.

Forever House is their debut production, which premiered at the Arts on the Move Festival, Exeter in June 2015 and will be performing at Greenside Venues at the Edinburgh Fringe later this Summer.
