Dittybug Presents
Another Dittybug night is here and this time they have the lovely Old Queen's Head in Angel accommodating the night.
This sublime lineup is one not to be missed!
Escapists
Escapists’ debut single was picked up and broadcast by XFM’s John Kennedy and within the year they toured with Imagine Dragons and made their festival debut at Reading and Leeds. This year Escapists remain true grafters and if meaty new single ‘Eat You Alive’ is any indicator, they have built and developed on their previous successes, shed their old skins and morphed into thought-provoking post-punk powerhouses who are decidedly bent on indie disco domination.
Matt's House
Psychedelic alternative rock band from London incorporating many genres including shoegaze and post-rock.
Freak's
Freak's are a Northern Irish band hailing from a town in Tyrone called Strabane. They got their name from a piece of grammatically incorrect graffiti that had been sprayed on the shutters of their local newsagents for years on end. It was a perfect fit for a band who formed with the intention of writing off-kilter pop tracks drawing equally the hooks of The Undertones and The Kinks as much as the guitar sounds of Pavement and The Pixies.

As Clash Magazine wrote, a band with “a tangible sense of ambition”, they have been described by Gigwise as having “an undeniably uplifting quality”…
