Buzzcocks appearing at this event

Buzzcocks are an English punk rock band, formed in Bolton in 1976, they are regarded as an important influence on the Manchester music scene, the independent record label movement, punk rock, power pop, and pop punk. Their lead singer Pete Shelley passed away in December 2018 but the band decided to carry on as a trio.

From Pennsylvania, USA, Dawn was discovered by producer Martin Terefe (KT Tunstall, James Morrison) and brought over to England to record her album. Her bluesy, soulful, songs are sung in a sultry, husky voice.

Little Fish

Little Fish appearing at this event

Oxford's Little Fish is the work of singer songwriter JuJu Sophie. The sound is stripped back, direct and defiantly punky in spirit, but also melodic and true to the song. Her Patti Smith-esque vocals can range from aggressive to powerful.

With their high octane live sets and unique musical fusion of Americana, Punk, Folk and Ska, The Penny Black Remedy have been thrilling crowds across the UK and the rest of Europe since the band's inception. Songwriter Keith M Thomson's fine blend of darkly humorous lyrics and joyful life affirming songs, along with TPBR's outstanding live performances, have seen them build a fiercely loyal international following. A hardcore of whom happily travel many miles and cross many borders to see them.
