2015 was a breakout year for the Philly native, who topped multiple charts with his debut album ‘Professional Rapper,’ surpassing fellow rappers such as Future, Migos, Drake, and others in weekly album sales. ‘Professional Rapper’ became the #1 Rap Album, #1 Independent Album, #1 Digital Album, #1 Comedy Album, #2 R&B / Hip Hop Album, and #3 Top Current Album.

The album also peaked at #1 on iTunes (overall) and Google Play, landing Dicky his first spot on The Billboard 200 chart at #7. The album has received a wide range of critical acclaim from Hip Hop tastemakers like XXL and HipHopDX, to mainstream outlets like Entertainment Weekly, Billboard, and Buzzfeed.

Lil Dicky closed out the year with a 4-page spread in Newsweek and a feature in XXL’s winter issue. As well as wide UK coverage with features from national newspapers and radio such as The Independent, Metro, Daily Mail and Capital Xtra.
