Soldiers And Suffragettes: The Photography Of Christina Broom

The work of Christina Broom, widely considered to be the UK’s first female press photographer. Broom took photographs of Suffragette processions, First World War soldiers, official photographs of the Household Brigade, the annual Oxord and Cambridge boat race, royal coronations and funerals, historical pageants and the Royal Family themselves.

This exhibition at the Museum of London Docklands will include photographs never before seen on public display and is the first exhibition dedicated tot he pioneer photographer.
