This event has been and gone.
The greatest surviving British punk band, The Damned, have announced a special show at The Palladium to take place on 28th October.
The band have also announced a best of album titled ‘Black Is The Night’ which will feature a brand new eponymously titled track and promises to be the most comprehensive collection of the band’s works to date.
‘An Evening Of A Thousand Vampires’ at The Palladium will be the band’s biggest headline show this year following on from a summer of festival performances at Glastonbury, Rebellion Festival, Y Not and more.
It will be a special immersive theatrical experience, unlike those ever seen before and certainly not for the feint of heart! Melding the band’s love of horror with a classic rock show, The Damned will be teaming up with legendary film production company Hammer House Of Horror, in a night that promises shock, awe and gore!
The Circus of Horrors will open the night.
Instrumental in kick-starting the original punk rock scene, The Damned have never been afraid to push themselves musically and throughout their years together have cruised through whatever areas of progressive, psychedelic, goth and pop rock that take their fancy. Smash it up with the original gothic punks - back with original members Dave Vanian and Captain Sensible.
