Irina Kolesnikova Season: Swan Lake
St Petersburg Ballet Theatre’s busy international touring season concludes with the world renowned prima ballerina Irina Kolesnikova leading the company in the debut London Irina Kolesnikova Season. Featuring international guest stars and performed with a live orchestra, the spectacular Kolesnikova leads this internationally acclaimed company in two thrilling productions – Swan Lake and La Bayadère.
Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece tells the classic love story between Prince Siegfried and the Swan Princess Odette, who is under a curse by the villainous sorcerer Rothbart. When the sorcerer plays a cruel trick on the Prince, the lovers are divided and the power of true love is the only thing which can overcome the evil curse.
