A fast-paced celebration of the best of the Edinburgh Fringe, with 28 of the best stand-up, character, sketch, musical and variety acts, all chosen by the Chortle comedy website to perform bite-sized previews of their 2013 festival shows on one amazing – if ridiculously busy – bill.

American Will Franken is a critically acclaimed satirist and high-speed, quick-change character comedian. Franken’s humour is rooted in the British sketch comedy tradition, notably Monty Python. Onstage, he portrays an eclectic mix of characters through a series of interconnected vignettes. His skits are often satirical, skewering a range of subcultures and political views, often absurdist.

The Showstoppers are a comedy group who thrive on improvisation - they spontaneously transform audience suggestions in to an all singing / all dancing show on the spot!
They have played sell-out seasons in London's West End, and have been a must-see staple of the Edinburgh Fringe for five years – as well as delighting audiences on tour around the world. Recently the group recorded their first BBC Radio Four series to great acclaim.

Bridget Christie has been a regular on the sketch and stand-up circuit for the last 5 years. She was a finalist in the Funny Women Final 2004, nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2005, won the inaugural Funny Women Best Show Fringe Award 2007 and was nominated for the Chortle Best Breakthrough Act 2009.
Bridget appeared in the second series of The Omid Djalili show on BBC1 and on Andy Zaltman's Radio 4 Series, Andy Zaltzman's History of the Third Millennium Series 1 of 100.

EastEnd Cabaret is the irrepressible, award-winnning musical comedy duo Bernadette Byrne (deviant diva) and Victor Victoria (freakish multi-instrumentalist). Le Gateau Chocolat is an opera-singing diva with a penchant for being wrapped in body hugging lycra and a passion for laughter. This delicious confection is a killer baritone who delivers outrageous yet moving renditions of everything from pop-rock to opera. He has garnered acclaim around the globe from The Royal Opera House, the V&A and Barbican in London to the Spiegeltent in Australia.

Mat Ricardo is one of the few jugglers in the World specialising in the almost-lost art of gentleman juggling - the art of performing juggling or balancing tricks with objects found in a restaurant, bar or gentleman's club. Mat delights in working hard to develop completely unique and incredible tricks that leave audiences unsure if they can safely believe their own eyes. Slick, smooth and occasionally very silly - and with enough tricks up his sleeve to stun even the most jaded of audiences.

Benny Boot has been performing on the UK stand-up comedy circuit for 6 years. He is considered by many comedians as a wonderful stand-up artist to watch. Boot delivers his jokes in a unique style on a variety of strange topics.
