An evening with two pioneering artists keeping the magic of Scottish folk alive while bringing it further into the
contemporary scene. Ambient experimental folk group Constant Follower and singer-songwriter Findlay Napier come to Kings Place to show just how safe the tradition is with them.

Constant Follower

Constant Follower, the project of Scottish songwriter Stephen McAll, emerged with the acclaimed album 'Neither Is, Nor Ever Was' on Shimmy Disc, marking his return to music after personal challenges. The album was shortlisted for the 2022 Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award. Known for its atmospheric, meditative, and emotive sound, Constant Follower has captivated audiences worldwide, with notable performances at SXSW 22/23/24 and airplay on KEXP, WFMU, and BBC6Music.

Findlay Napier

Talented singer-songwriter-guitarist from the Highlands of Scotland taking in elements of folk, rock, pop, country and even a touch of jazz. Findlay is well known as the host of Celtic Connections late night sessions and made his name touring and recording with Scottish folk band Back Of The Moon.
