Hard Rock Calling: Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band + John Fogerty + Lady Antebellum + Amy Macdonald + Dawes + Gary Clark Jr + Needtobreathe + The Night + Jonathan Wilson
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will be returning to the UK in 2012 for their first UK dates since they headlined Hard Rock Calling in 2009 to huge acclaim from both critics and fans alike.
Expect some of their biggest and most loved hits and a few surprises too.
Over 30 years at the top of the rock tree has established 'The Boss' as one of America's musical legends. Despite being best known for his massively popular eighties albums such as 'Born In The USA' and 'Nebraska', he has developed a more mature sound in the last few years with hits like 'The Streets Of Philadelphia' and 'The Ghost Of Tom Joad'. His album 'The Rising', penned as a response to the terrorist attacks on New York, has catapulted him back into the limelight and proves that Bruce was 'Born To Run'.

One of the legendary voices of rock 'n' roll, John Fogerty has sold over 100 million records, earning 18 Gold Albums and 10 Platinum Albums. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1993, won a Grammy Award for his album 'Blue Moon Swamp' in 1997 and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2005. He is also a BMI Icon Award Winner. He's also called the "Father of the Flannel Shirt".

American country music group formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2006. The trio is composed of Charles Kelley (lead and background vocals), Dave Haywood (background vocals, guitar, piano, mandolin) and Hillary Scott (lead and background vocals).
Lady Antebellum tour dates
Since her rise to fame in 2007 with her debut album 'This Is The Life', the Award-winning and multi-platinum selling Scottish songstress continues to take the world by storm with her brand of rootsy folk-rock.
Amy Macdonald tour dates
Brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, along with Wylie Gelber and Tay Strathairn are a rock band from L.A., and part of the 'Laurel Canyon sound', with influences including Crosby, Stills & Nash and Neil Young, amongst others. Dawes' debut album, 'North Hills', was recorded in Laurel Canyon in a live setting to analog tape, resulting in a sound that Rolling Stone magazine called "authentically vintage".
Dawes are capitalising on the tremendous reaction to their first UK visit by supporting Mumford & Sons on their sold out tour, which will take them the length and breadth of the country, including some massive stadia.

Taking up guitar at age twelve, Clark quickly found his way into the fertile Austin scene, taken under the wing of long-time club owner and artists advocate Clifford Antone and such local stalwarts as Jimmie Vaughan. Antone put the youngster on stage with such blues giants as James Cotton and Hubert Sumlin.
Vaughan and others taught him about moving beyond the legends, both going back to the originators who influenced them, but also embracing the spirit of innovation that separated such groundbreakers as Cream and the Stones from the crowd.
He made the most of the support and became such a shining presence that Austin declared a “Gary Clark Jr. Day” in his honour while he was still in his teens. And by 2007 he was named the city's best blues artist and rock guitarist at the Austin Music Awards. In fact, he's won those same categories every year ever since.

Needtobreathe are the Rinehart brothers, pastor's sons who hail from the rural South Carolina, along with drummer Joe Stillwell and bass player Seth Bolt. Needtobreathe's engaging southern style honours their South Carolina roots, although these small-town boys are equally as comfortable on the big stage having played countless US arena shows during their recent American tours.

Songwriter, musician and producer Jonathan Wilson delivers warm, supple melodies etched in layers of stringed instruments and willowy organ motifs accompany his earnest, North Carolinian drawl as he tells tales of humane values lost and found. Wilson’s music is steeped equally in the woodsy contours of his Blue Ridge experiences and the atmospheric guitar reveries of Neil Young and Quicksilver Messenger Service. In fact, debut album “Gentle Spirit” is remarkably evocative of that golden late ‘60s, early ‘70s period when rural and urban sensibilities colluded in producing some of rock’s most imperishable recordings.
