TALKING BACK: A Night of Black Verbatim Theatre tells two stories: BLACK WOMEN DATING WHITE MEN and PRESENT BLACK FATHERS.

BLACK WOMEN DATING WHITE MEN is a collection of interviews of (you guessed it) Black women who are in long-term relationships (plus two marriages) with white men. Expect talks about privilege, activism, and the mystery of headscarves.

PRESENT BLACK FATHERS, also a collection of interviews, challenges the “absent Black father” stereotype. With Black fathers are the forefront, you know things are about to get real, and maybe too real. It’s funny, emotional, and like all dads, a bit embarrassing.

LATECOMERS MAY NOT BE ADMITTED. PLEASE ARRIVE IN GOOD TIME FOR THE START TIME OF 7.45PM.

UNDER 18s ARE NOT PERMITTED INTO THE THEATRE FOR THIS PERFORMANCE.

The performance lasts 90 minutes including interval. No re-admittance once the performance has commenced.

Refunds and exchanges are not available.
