Stand Up And Rock For Crisis: Paul Weller, Tim Minchin, Graham Coxon, Jo Brand, Ross Noble
Paul Weller, Tim Minchin, Graham Coxon and Jo Brand will headline Stand Up and Rock: a music and comedy gig in aid of homelessness charity Crisis, hosted by Ross Noble.
Stand Up and Rock comes as Crisis at Christmas marks its 40th anniversary. Since 1972 the charity has provided vital services for homeless and vulnerably housed people. All proceeds from the gig will go towards Crisis’ life changing services at Crisis at Christmas and year-round in its Skylight centres across the country.
Joining the musicians and comedians on stage will be The Choir With No Name, an acclaimed choir made up of homeless people and others on the fringes of society, including clients of Crisis, who last performed for the charity alongside Coldplay in 2010.
Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.
This event takes place at Eventim Apollo, which has achieved Bronze Status for disabled access from Attitude Is Everything.
Former Jam and Style Council frontman, the legend that is Paul Weller re-discovered himself as a solo talent in the 90s, effortlessly straddling the fields of indie, rock and acoustic musings.

Tim Minchin is an Australian musician, composer, songwriter, actor, comedian and writer. He has been performing his unique brand of musical comedy in front of appropriately excitable and ever-growing audiences since starting out in South Melbourne’s Butterfly Club in 2005. His songs span various musical styles and topics such as environmentalism, rationalism, prejudice(ism), logical fallacies(ism) and his amour de fromage et boobs. He plays the piano, wears skinny jeans and sports wildly teased hair. He worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), to write the music and lyrics for Matilda The Musical.
“If you’re going to play big spaces, this is the way to do it; with a 55-piece orchestra and a juggernaut full of showmanship, making this a big show in every sense…a superlative night out.” (Chortle)

The multi-instrumentalist has produced a variety of albums and continues to be a solid and influential figure in modern British music.
