Camden Spring Fest

Bavarian beer festival Springfest comes to Camden for the first time this May.

Spring is in the air and soon, ale will be too as beer lovers are invited to clink tankards at this year's much anticipated Springfest at Electric Ballroom in Camden on Saturday 22nd May. Springfest is the Bavarian beer festival which started in Munich in 1965 and has since affectionately become known as ?Little Oktoberfest.' It is a welcoming celebration of all things boozy and beer-y and is coming to the centre of Camden for the very first time this May.

Right now, everyone is desperate to be swigging full steins of the finest ales while we munch on hearty Bratwurst and this one has been brewed up with something of a twist. In a break from Bavarian tradition, Springfest Camden will also showcase the finest in UK craft ales, pils and lagers as well as farmhouse ciders which will support the UK's vibrant craft-brewing scene. Springfest have also done away with the over familiar Oompah Band and instead replaced it with a cutting-edge, street style live brass offering from No Limit Street Band and talented local DJs spinning big tunes at Club De Fromage.
