Ensemble OrQuesta revives Marcio da Silva’s 2017 production of La Calisto for The Cockpit. This unique version of Cavalli’s 17th-century masterpiece brims full of beautiful music and wide-ranging emotions. With its sexual intrigue, cross-dressing, seduction and manipulation, its delightful romance, comedy and disguises, this work is thought-provoking, entertaining and uplifting.
