Sat Aug 10 - The South London Soul Train once again loads up the carriages, turns things up to 11 and invites you to dance well harder y'all! Your dancefloor terminating host with the most Jazzheadchronic joined by special guest DJ Seamus Haji (Big Love), alongside riotous brass band party starters, the truly magnificent 11 piece stage stormers that are The Full Tilt Collective (Live) at the CLF Art Cafe, Block A, Bussey Building

Level 1 - The Full Tilt Collective (Live) Band on stage around midnight.
Brass heavy 11 piece party starters Full Tilt Collective burst onto the scene in September 2016 and have since been taking their unique blend of funk, reggae, soul, rock, hip hop, ska to venues across the capital. The band have made a name for themselves playing at the likes of Hootananny Brixton, Rich Mix, Archspace, The Fox and Firkin and The Magic Garden as well as festivals like Sunrise Celebration, Hogsozzle and Isle of Wight. With a set comprised predominantly of originals (alongside the odd reinterpreted cover) and a rotating lineup of musicians, including Trinity and Guildhall graduates, Full Tilt combine a tight sound with an energetic delivery for one raucous, unforgettable show.
Then on Level 2 - Time to let the funk mercilessly flow. Funk 45 Damager Snowboy and The Mighty Ian Wright here to deliver the news on vinyl. The scoop - funk is alive and livin on 45. Eruption time, as the dancefloor went BOOM! The rare grooves blowing, the funk & soul mercilessly flowing live and very direct to the dancefloor. Amen!
Level 3 - It's The Hawaiian Bop Trip. Your retrolicious host Richio Suzuki joined by NYC 45 selector Kurtis Powers and Oscar Romp for an epic strictly retrolicious Rock & Roll, 50's R N' B, 60's Soul & Motown, Vintage Ska & Latin journey from the love side. Aloha baby!
The South London Soul Train Line up completed in the Rye Wax Basement - Time to enter The Reach Up Disco Wonderland. Legendary DJ Andy Smith, Nick Halkes + Crissy Kybosh dropping 80’s boogie, disco and proto house, evoking the spirit and dipping into the soundtrack of legendary NYC clubs such as 'Paradise Garage’ & 'Studio 54’. A night highlighting the sounds that emerged as the 70’s, turned into the 80’s and the DNA of club music as we know it today was being written. Damn!
The South London Soul Train (as always) All floors, will be taking, all passengers on a Non-Stop Magical Mystery Tour through all things Too Damn Funky. P-Funk to Jazz Funk, Soul Jazz to Rare Groove N’ Stax, Brass, Breaks, Bop and Hop to Motown, Club Classics and Anthems.
However - Passengers are requested to check their Souls at the Station as this one's for good time party people only! No Bass Wobbles Here, Only Love, Funk and Souuuuuuuul.

Playing a classic range of jazz funk tunes, Snowboy brings his disco-boogie, nu-jazz, old skool rap sound to dancefloors around the world. Latin percussionist, recording artist, former writer for respected hip-hop magazine Big Daddy, he's been DJing since 1978 and his deck skills have been in constant demand.
