Tue Dec 31 - It's New Year Eve and The South London Soul Train audio canons are locked, vinyl carriages loaded and cockpits piloted by the cream of London's funk, soul, breaks, beats, hip hop, jazz & funk heads - as we hit the tracks, accelerate to 1.21 gigawatts and take flight into 2020 (The future) & beyond (Then to Now!) Dancing til the dawn of the start of a new decade with a strictly good time, positively celebratory, New Years Eve, 4 floor, 5 room dance off of Epic proportions at The CLF Art Cafe. Part of our going mission to move your mind & body + force feed yoh soul with the absolute best of times at South London Soul Train.

Expect our (annual) multi-level mission (if you choose to accept it) through the sonically pulsating realms of planet groove, funk, soul and disco, with a detour to the land of bop, breaks, boogie and beyond. 15 soulsonic premier league DJs joining forces to drop it like its hot, ALL NIGHT LONG! Toasting yoh soul hot with a multi level barrage of the absolute finest in white hot vinyl, soul shaking funk and the rarest of grooves. It's 2020 for wax sake!!! So set your soul to stunned and buckle up Funk Heads, as we stand up and truly deliver an epic session in dance to mark the the dawn of a new decade.

Level 1 - The Too Damn Hot Room
Your New Year toasting host with the absolute most Jazzheadchronic joined by Tru Skool Beat Head Keith Lawrence (Opening set) + AJ Kwame (Afri-Ko-Koa) for a for an all out audio assault on all of yoh senses. A joyous dance floor driven 9hr orgy of positively uplifting rare and anthemic funk, soul, groove, disco, hip hop and jazz fused nastiness - heavyweight joints dropped without mercy and set to seriously funk you all over. All Night Long!!! Prepare yourselves.

Then on Level 2 [Room 1]: The Funk Pit - Funks gonna hit the floor. The Funk, the whole funk and nothing but the funk delivered hard on 45 by legendary incendiary strictly vinyl DJ’s The Mighty Snowboy, Jazzcotech Warrior Perry Louis and The Legendary Dean Rudland here to drop vinyl like rain for daze. Dance like thunder. Strictly on the good foot! Absolutely Positively Storming!

The trio of most excellent DJs joined on Level 2 [Room 2]: The Northern Soul Room - 45 Northern Soul Junkies, The Legendary Rob Messer, Oscar Romp and Richio Suzuki serving up more Seismic Northern Soul Vibrations of epic proportions - dropped hard, large and heavy on yehs. Believe us when we say, you gonna feel it. Long time!

Then up on Level 3 - The Good time Disco Vibrations intensify as we enter The Disco Wonderland. The legendary DJ Andy Smith, Nick Halkes & Crissy Kybosh dropping 80’s boogie, disco and proto house, evoking the spirit and dipping into the soundtrack of legendary NYC clubs such as 'Paradise Garage’ & 'Studio 54’. A night highlighting the sounds that emerged as the 70’s, turned into the 80’s and the DNA of club music as we know it today was being written. Damn!

The South London Soul Train 4 Floor, 5 room New Years Eve Epic completed in Room 5 / The Rye Wax Basement: The Wah Wah Place: Joyfully hard hitting DJ / Label Head Dom Servini & The Wah Wah 45 Family drop soul, breaks, beats, disco, jazz, funk, hip hop, boogie and beyond and positively conquer. Celebrating 20 years of Wah Wah 45 & Dom Servinis birthday & (of course) 2020. Pure subterranean good time pressure - cookin' yoh soul hot and just like you like it. All night long.

Prepare to dance well Harder Y'all!

The South London Soul Train, as always, all floors taking all passengers on a Non-Stop Magical Mystery Tour through all things Too Damn Funky. P-Funk to Jazz Funk, Soul Jazz to Rare Groove N’ Stax, Brass, Breaks, Bop and Hop to Motown, Club Classics and Anthems.

However - Passengers are requested to check their Souls at the Station as this one's for good time party people only! No Bass Wobbles Here, Only Love, Funk and Souuuuuuuul.

The SLST NYE Epic runs from 9pm - 6am / Entry £10/15/£20/25/30 Adv from RA or £30 OTD [Strictly Limited availability] - The SLST normally takes place every Saturday night at The CLF Art Cafe www.clfartcafe.org + beyond.

Important Ticket Note: Advance Tickets are available in 3 categories: The first gives entry b4 10:30pm, the second entry b4 1am and the third Entry Anytime - But pleaes arrive on time / as early as possible, as we want y'all in early to see in the New Year together (not have you stuck in a queue)
