Chincha Sundays
Bringing Afro-Peruvian music to Shoreditch with live performances, DJs, food and drink. Inspired by the informal gatherings of Lima’s underground Peñas, Ceviche Old St’s Chincha Sundays will bring a flavour of Lima’s Afro heritage to London.
Hosted by chef and restaurateur Martin Morales on the first Sunday of every month, the events will champion the harmony of music and food, which Martin has long supported, having set-up Tiger’s Milk Records in 2012, delving into the sounds of all corners of Peru, from punk and funk to Afro, electronic and folkloric music.
