Hard Times Present Legends: Todd Terry + Terry Hunter + CJ Mackintosh + Norman Jay + Joey Negro + Justin Berkmann + Ricky Morrison + Jason Shaw + Mat Playford
"After the hugely successful re-launch of Hard Times in London with the The 3 Kings Of House event, the legendary house night returns to present 'Legends' at London's top underground club Cable on Saturday May 4th, with another unbelievable stellar line-up.
The imaginative lineup combines the best of the best from both sides of the pond. First headliner Todd Terry needs NO introduction as don't British DJ's / Producers Norman Jay (MBE) and Joey Negro."

The man responsible for remixing MARRS, 'Pump Up The Volume' together with Dave Dorrell. Originally a hip-hop DJ, CJ moved over to house music in the early 90s and scored a residency at Ministry of Sound in '94 where he played for seven years. Now a father of two and still pleasing mainstream clubbers as resident DJ at City Loud, Turnmills, London.

The man behind the Good Times soundsystem used at the Notting Hill Carnival, regular DJ on London 94.9FM and co-founder KISS FM. Norman also takes his brand of deep, soulful house to Miss Moneypenny's, and is a much-respected DJ across the country. Norman was awarded the MBE in the Queen's honour's list 2002 for services to music.

Joey Negro is the most well known pseudonym of master British DJ, producer and remixer Dave Lee. Under a plethora of other monikers including Jakatta, Akabu, Doug Willis, Raven Maize, The Sunburst Band, Sessomatto and Z Factor, Dave was one of the first artists to incorporate disco samples in house music when he began his production career in 1990. Indeed, he was in the studio making credible and outstanding British House music when many luminaries around him were still busy getting to grips with their decks.

One of the men behind 2001 club classic 'Salsoul Nugget (If You Wanna)'. Expect uplifting and silky smooth house vibes with a popularist flavour.
