Gamma Majoris is delighted to present a new production of The Sleeping Beauty – a musical fairy-tale for children.

Designed by a group of award-winning musicians, this entertaining production for the whole family aims to inspire children about the world of classical music and musical instruments in an entertaining and interactive way.

The Sleeping Beauty is a fairy tale about a violin from the moment it was born in Italy a very long time ago until the magical performance on the day of the play. The production features famous music by composers including Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Schubert, Rachmaninov etc.

During the play the children will learn the basic ways of playing the violin.

Gamma Majoris for Kids is a project designed by the members of Gamma Majoris ensemble and specialises in making the world of classical music interesting, entertaining and accessible for children of a certain age group.

The London- based ensemble Gamma Majoris is formed out of 4 young top UK soloists: Ksenia Berezina (violin), Yulia Chaplina (piano), Alisa Liubarskaya (cello) and Anastasia Prokofieva (soprano).

Having won numerous international competitions, including the Tchaikovsky competition for Young Musicians, the members of the group have performed solo and in orchestras in more than 20 countries all over the world.
