The Gallery Singers

Following their wonderful concerts in 2013, 2014 and 2015 the Gallery Singers return to the Thames Tunnel Shaft to present an evening of music 'Spirituals in the Tunnel'.

Celebrating the superb talents of Sir Michael Tippett, born 111 years ago this year. The spirituals formed part of a larger work 'A Child of our Time'. Tippett got the inspired idea to centre the work around the spirituals from hearing them on the wireless.
