The Sunday Jazz Lunch
A delicious 18-hour slow roast rib of aged Aberdeenshire beef is the centrepiece for Boisdale's famous Sunday Jazz Lunch. Complimenting the mouthwatering menu is the fantastic gypsy jazz of The Hot Club Of Boisdale.
The unique music created by Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt is now more popular than at any time since its Hotclub heyday. Led by the understated liquid licks of Grappelli's onetime guitarist, Jeff Green, alongside Mike Piggott, who the New York Times calls 'One of the best swing jazz fiddle players anywhere,' The Hot Club Of Boisdale's authentic take on the mesmeric music once found in the dimly lit clubs of Paris in the swinging 30s has earned them a reputation as one of the best gypsy jazz bands this side of La Seine.
