The Goodman-Miller Tribute Orchestra
Pete Long and his Goodmen have performed Benny Goodman's iconic 1938 Carnegie Hall concert over 50 times in the last decade. Here, they proudly present the debut re-creation of the Benny Goodman Orchestra's return to Carnegie Hall the following year on an illustrious bill that also included Glenn Miller.
Long will be taking on the role of Goodman, whilst Chris Dean, leader of the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, will play Miller and his featured singer of the time, Ray Eberle, Dave Chamberlain will be on electric guitar as the legendary Charlie Christian and Richard Pite will be faithfully recreating the breathtaking showmanship of Lionel Hampton on the drums.
