Award-winning New Zealand violinist Benjamin Baker over the past year has made his debut with the Philharmonia Orchestra and performed with the Haydn Chamber Orchestra conducted by Nicholas Collon. He has given recitals at Wigmore Hall, the Lichfield, Newbury and Northern Chords Festivals; recorded for Champs Hill Records; and appeared as soloist with the Royal New Zealand Ballet Company.
We are delighted to welcome him to the Blackheath Sunday series accompanied by consummate pianist, Robert Thompson who as a chamber musician regularly collaborates with a number of instrumentalists and has appeared at the Wigmore Hall.
