Homegrown Theatre 18-25

This season Bryony Kimmings, the Princess of Performance Art, curates an 8 week development programme for aspiring young artists on independent practice.

As part of BAC’s mission to invent the future of theatre, Homegrown aims to support artists aged 18-25 to make performances they are really proud of, and that the world sits up and listens to.

Bryony will help you find exciting, original ideas that you can then develop amongst like-minded, creative, passionate people. You will also get access to rehearsal space, mentorship from a BAC producer, workshops from other established artists and the opportunity to scratch work in front of an audience in the Freshly Made festival in March.

Bryony Kimmings creates full-length performance works, sound art, online projects, cabaret, work for young people as well as writing and recording her own music. Her work is autobiographical, larger than life, sometimes dangerous, often moving, always honest but above all fun.

Her previous works Sex Idiot and 7 Day Drunk have, in recent years, won her great critical acclaim and awards.

Performances will take place 21st, 22nd and 23rd March from 6:00pm - 10:30pm
