London Concert Choir

London Concert Choir presents Mendelssohn’s great Biblical oratorio – a choral favourite ever since its premiere in 1846. In the highly dramatic story, a curse bringing the scourge of drought leads to despair, wickedness, cruelty, relief, tenderness and mercy. All is resolved in the final chorus of praise and thanksgiving to the ‘Lord, our Creator’.
