GoGo Penguin

Originally scored by Philip Glass, Godfrey Reggio’s 1982 film Koyaanisqatsi is a remarkable cinematic masterpiece that has gained cult status. Its powerful conjunction of music and image resonated so much with GoGo Penguin that in 2015 they composed a new score, generating a contemporary dialogue with Reggio’s profound images and illuminating the film’s original poignancy anew with their rich, textured music.
