Seong-Jin Cho

Winner of the 2015 Chopin International Piano Competition, Seong-Jin Cho is rapidly developing a world-class career. He was born in 1994 in Seoul, South Korea, and began his piano studies at the age of 6, giving his first public recital at the age of 11. Seong-Jin Cho has performed with number of noted orchestras, including the Czech, Munich and Seoul Philharmonic orchestras, Philharmonia, Royal Concertgebouw, Budapest Festival Orchestra, Mariinsky Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra and the Danish National and NHK Symphony orchestras, under renowned conductors such as Myung-Whun Chung, Lorin Maazel, Marek Janowski, Mikhail Pletnev, Valery Gergiev and Vladimir Ashkenazy.
