BLACK COMEDY UK are a group of seasoned specialists, passionate about curating unforgettable experiences that inspire, captivate and entertain our audiences. With accomplished Event Producers and some of the most creative minds in the industry, their events aim to deliver on every level. Since 2009, BLACK COMEDY UK has produced the biggest stand up comedy theatre productions and the highest number of shows of any event organisers on the black comedy circuit.
The black comedy circuit has the most diverse audience of all of the UK comedy circuits. People of all races, religions and backgrounds come to enjoy the shows and events. The circuit was born out of frustration, to give comedians from ethnic backgrounds that were ignored by the mainstream circuit.
Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.
Considered by some to be the UK's answer to Will Smith, TV presenter, comedian, pop star/rapper, actor and radio DJ Richard Blackwood has many strings to his bow. As a rapper and singer, Richard had a no.3 hit single in 2000 with his cover of Junior's 'Mama Used To Say' (who happens to be Richard's uncle!), reworked as 'Mama Who Da Man'. Nowadays you will mostly find Richard on the stand-up circuit.
