Edinburgh Festival Previews: Matt Forde, Steve N Allen, Erich McElroy
Three Edinburgh previews in one show!
Matt Forde: Brexit, Pursued by a Bear
Join Britain’s leading political comedian as he once again promises his last show as an EU citizen (maybe). As seen on Have I Got News For You and The Royal Variety. Complete sell out 2018 Fringe.
Steve N Allen: Better Than
In a time when you can’t do right for doing wrong Steve N Allen (as seen on BBC 2’s The Mash Report) takes a look at how hard it is to be better. When you want to be PC, right on or woke it can be tough. Be better than a Weinstein. Be better than an angry Twitter egg. Be better than you. An entertaining and sometimes hard-edged guide to better better than.
Erich McElroy: Radical Centrist
With politics moving to extremes and into nearly every aspect of our lives, Erich McElroy finds another way. The only true centrist comedian at the Fringe, Erich is rising up to demand incremental change and reasoned debate. He’s crossing over the left/right divide in a way that’ll make you stop and think - or at least slow down.
Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.
Matt is a writer on 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Stand-Up for the Week and can also be heard on his own late night phone-in show on the Sony-Award winning talkSPORT.
'A first class comic' (The Guardian)
'Highly engaging, inherently funny... an innate ability to ad lib laughs out of thin air' (Chortle.co.uk)
'Manages to combine infectious enthusiasm with astutely well-informed political opinions' (Three Weeks).
