It is the infantile, oddly macabre quality of Lee's stage shows that makes them terribly watchable. A striking figure: skinny and slight and akin to a camp Yorkshire Johnny Rotten in both manner and dress sense. He performs his shows with equal amounts of amiability and gusto and with a healthy dollop of the unearthly thrown in. Incredibly funny, odd and beguiling to watch.
Ross Lee tour dates
Renaissance man. Impresario. Bit of a tw*t. Just some of the words Harry has used to describe himself in this bio. During his time in the comedy industry he has published and edited the UK's longest running nationally distributed comedy magazine The Fix, been the comedy editor for the Guardian Guide, directed several sellout critically acclaimed shows and what at this stage seems like the high point of his career appeared as a panelist on Loaded TV's flagship book show 'Lads Lit'.
He currently oversees online comedy channel Raybot and hosts and produces his hugely popular residency Shambles in London.
'Hilarious' (Justin Long, Star of Die Hard 4.0 and Dodgeball)
'Harry is a train wreck that's already happened' (Rich Fulcher, Mighty Boosh)
'Self-deprecating, self-sabotaging, deliberate shambles of a showman. But weirdly, it works' (The List).
