For almost two decades Quentin Collins has had an enviable reputation as a lyrical and melodic trumpet player with a powerful sound and approach. His first album was received to great critical acclaim - "intensely impressive", "brass virtuoso" - and he has continued to forge an impressive reputation on the UK scene ever since. He includes the likes of Jeff Beck, Omar, Prince and Roy Ayres on a lengthy and impressive cv, but these days is probably best known for his work with the internationally acclaimed Kyle Eastwood Band. Tonight Quentin will be bringing his “All Star” quartet to the Club featuring three musicians all of whom have one or more Awards to their name: Deschanel Gordon-piano, Daniel Casimir-bass and Shane Forbes-drums.
