Llanelli Choral Society, Hywel Girls Choir, Hywel Boy Singers, Angelicus Choral

Under the legendary baton of John Hywel Williams, the Llanelli Choral Society will present 'The Miracle of Christmas', an exciting and immersive performance and re-enactment of the Nativity through music, narration and theatre.

The musical and sacred experience will see the choral force of the Llanelli Choral Society joined by the Hywel Girls’ Choir and Hywel Boy Singers, the Angelicus Choral, acclaimed, organist Huw Tregelles Williams, percussionist Gareth Hamlin and other musical friends with the voices of the scriptures read by Jeremy Hywel – all under the musical baton of John Hywel Williams.

Further to the huge success and popularity of last year’s Miracle of Christmas, the Nativity experience will be held in the beautiful and spiritual surroundings of a candle lit St. Elli Parish Church.

Music will include highlights from Handel’s Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man, O Holy Night, Holy City, Ave Maria, Pie Jesu, Silent Night, Away in a Manger, O Come All Ye Faithful and many more will provide the musical backdrop, blended with narratives of the Nativity and costumed biblical characters.
