On The Waterfront

A new exhibition at Merseyside Maritime Museum explores the rich history of the Albert Dock, the city and port of Liverpool. Through photographs, paintings, film and audio, you’ll discover the commercial, industrial and architectural development of the area from the 18th century up to the present day. Marking the 300 year anniversary of the city’s Old Dock, personal stories show how the area was shaped and the impact it has had on the lives of local people.
