Capstone Late Spring Jazz Series
The Weave is a collection of some of Liverpool's best established Jazz musicians, bringing together an extremely wide range of influences and musical experience to create a repertoire of warm, melodic and joyous homespun originals.
Since forming in August 2012 when they recorded their debut album, The Weave won tour support from Jazz North on their Northern Line Ambassadors scheme and have toured extensively in England, bringing 2014 to a close with a rave reviewed show at the EFG London International Jazz Festival.
Their first album received widespread critical acclaim both nationally and internationally with glowing reviews from top New York critics Mark Myers and Howard Mandel, and has won radio support from the likes of Mark Radcliffe, Jazz FM, UK Jazz Radio.
This evening's concert is the official launch of their widely anticipated second album.
