Steve won the North West Comedian of the Year 1998 and was a finalist in 'So You Think You're Funny' in the same year. With support slots with the likes of Johnny Vegas, Peter Kay and Lee Evans, Steve comes highly recommended from the heavy weights of comedy themselves.
'Fancy dancing, quick one-liners and a whole lot of charisma' (Daily Post)
'Quite simply, fantastically funny' (BBC).
Steve Harris tour dates
Failed singer/musician and doomed to a life of temping, Keith Carter is a professional character comedian, actor and writer.
The two highlights of his showbiz career are having his one and only single played by John Peel and accidentally knocking George Martin into an ice sculpture whilst drunk. Carter is proficient on guitar, harmonica and piano and can’t believe he is getting away with not having a proper job. He is currently waiting for someone to tap him on the shoulder to tell him it’s all over.
‘A character comedian of rare skill.’ (The Guardian).
Nige (Keith Carter) tour dates
Kevin knew he was destined to be a stand up comedian when at the age of just 8 months he fell ten feet down a stairwell and banged his head on a newspaper rack; because of this people have been laughing at him ever since. As soon as he steps on a stage the audience quickly realise they are in the company of a natural born performer!
'Very funny indeed. A poignant tale with lots of really good deadpan humour. He is a little like Eddie Izzard – but he made me laugh much more than Eddie Izzard ever could. Engaging, very slick and professional. Wonderful songs that had me and the audience in stitches. A very likeable comedian' (The Edinburgh Enlightenment).
