Glyndebourne Festival - La Traviata

The first revival in the 2017 repertoire is Tom Cairns’s 2014 staging of Verdi’s La traviata, which will receive two performance runs. Russian soprano Kristina Mkhitaryan takes the role of Violetta, making her Glyndebourne debut, while Alfredo is performed by American tenor Zach Borichevsky. Giorgio Germont will be played by Russian baritone Igor Golovatenko who made a notable debut as Severo in the 2015 Glyndebourne Festival production of Poliuto.
