Formed in Leicester while still at school, they took their name from Linda Kasabian, one of the members of the Charles Manson cult. Their electronica-indie rock fusion akin to Primal Scream combined with the rough vocal style and unrepentant Mancunian swagger of Oasis has firmly established them as more than just a flash in the pan and injected a large dose of energy back into the Brit-rock scene.
